My sensational {non-growing} seeds! 🌻

Hi, and welcome to my new blog post about my seed who refuses to grow. I mean, I guess I haven’t been giving it a lot of sun, so I’ll try to position mine in front of the sun and see the difference. I showed you the steps last post, so if you don’t know them, womp, womp. I really want it to just grow already!!!! I’m italicising and uhhh, bolding? the word really to emphacize the fact that I want it to grow. I’ve seen other ones growing, and to be honest, I’m a little worried Sunny-my sunflower seed- won’t grow. Looking at everyone else’s makes it feel worse. I’m still pretty confident, though. I really want mine to grow because it would be such an amazing gift for mother’s day. That’s getting off topic. I’m going to try and water it, 🌊, keep it in the sun, 🌞 and take great care of Sunny! Thx so much for reading my blog!

Spectacular Sunflower Seeds

From my last blog about my seeds, you were informed that I am planting a sunflower seed. It hasn’t sprouted yet. 😥. But I’m not worried. {Not yet at least} haha. Um, bassically, so what I started with was dampening a paper towel and putting the seed inside. The paper towel was placed in a bag and got stuck to the window. But I’m just catching you up on that. The steps I did were taking my seed out of the not-so-damp-anymore paper towel, then I filled a cup with one half of dirt which can also be seen as this: 1/2 or this: . I put my seed into the one half of dirt I put in the cup. Then, I put one quarter of dirt over my seed. Which made it three out of four quarters. The cup was filled with water after and put in front of the sun. I really hope mine grows! 🥳

By the way, I want my sunflower to be fully grown like this:

Sunflower Seeds! 💘🥰

Introduction:

My name is Beatrice and on Friday, Mr.Watters -my teacher- told us that we were going to plant seeds and see if they grew. I  planted a sunflower seed because they are  just too pretty. I really hope mine grows.

Scientific properties:
The way my seed will grow will be because they’ll be exposed to sunlight and they were put into a damp paper towl. Water, sunlight, and oxygen will help my plant grow.

Karing and Kindness matter most! 💘 {K!K!}

 You might be wondering, what is kindness and how do you be kind to people who are mean to you? Well, I also wondered that… until I participated in Quinn’s workshop. We played a game called the kindness web. Basically, you have yarn and you say something kind about someone and pass them the yarn until you have a web. I was practically on the moon when I was chosen first by a girl with the initials, R.R. But I couldn’t have learned everything I wanted to know. So, I’ll show you lucky readers a special chart :

K stands for what I know. L sands for what I learned in the workshop. W stands for what I wonder.

K: I know that I have to be always kind no matter what.

W: I wonder how to always be positive and optimistic without violence or hurtful words.

L:  I learned how to think of kind compliments

The Science and Tech Museum

I loved the Science and Tech Museum. The sound room was really fun, at least until some annoying grade three kids came in and started shouting. I sat with Lauren on the bus. On the way back, we sat at seat number 3.  On the way to the museum, we sat at seat 9. We explored the museum for most of the time. The first and last pictures were when we were doing a workshop. We had to build a pulley and a gear system for the work shop.  😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. To wrap it up, my trip to the museum was fun and I can’t wait for another field trip!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
